Top 5 Art and Design Apps on Android in Kenya, Q1 2025

The first quarter of 2025 saw a diverse performance among the top five art and design apps on the Android platform in Kenya. Data from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor demonstrated a remarkable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $1.3K in early March. Downloads were particularly high at the end of March, reaching 20.4K, while active users fluctuated, starting at 177K and ending the quarter at 160K.

Genius: AI Photo Generator saw a notable surge in downloads at the beginning of February with 40.2K, although its revenue remained negligible. Active users also showed a peak in early February at 38.8K.

Arvin® - AI Logo Maker experienced a gradual decline in revenue, from $200 to $74 by the end of March. Downloads were highest at the start with 4.7K, but decreased significantly towards the end. Active users also showed a downward trend, ending the quarter at 8.9K.

PixShift: BackGround Changer showed a consistent rise in downloads, culminating at 4.5K by the end of the quarter, and active users followed a similar trend, reaching 3.9K.

AR Draw Sketch: Trace & Paint saw its downloads peak mid-March at 3.3K. Active users increased from 4.3K at the start to 6.9K by the end of March.
